Rogue River

Running 215 miles from the edge of Crater Lake to the Pacific Ocean, the wild and scenic section of the river is a paradise for white-water rafting, and offers some of the best steelhead and salmon fishing there is. The river also boasts an extensive shoreline trail system, campgrounds and lodges, and private access or experience the majesty, wildlife, and excitement at mach speed on a guided jetboat excursion.

Klamath River

With a unique rainbow trout subspecies, scores of bald eagles, numerous endangered species, spectacular scenery, wild horses, and cultural and historic sites at every turn, the Klamath provides an outstanding river experience. The Klamath River is one of only three rivers that transects the Cascade Mountain Range, flowing from the high-desert interior through remote pine and oak forested canyons and coastal rain forest to the Pacific Ocean. This creates a wide diversity of habitats supporting an abundance of wildlife.

Crater Lake National Park

The color of this lake, the deepest lake in the United States, is an amazing deep clear blue that has to be seen to be truly appreciated. Surrounding the lake are sheer cliffs, almost two thousand feet high; so you are never at a loss for an amazing view. It is a place of immeasurable beauty. The park is located 70 miles northeast of Medford and offers lodging, restaurant, campgrounds, hiking, cross-country skiing and naturalist programs. Oregon Caves National Monument

Hidden in the heavily-forested Siskiyou Mountains is an awesome and beautiful natural wonder. The interior is marble, immense and placid, with temperatures hovering just above 40 degrees. Water is the architect of the Cave, and frequently the deep quiet is broken by faint sounds of underground water as you move through the passages, vaults and chambers. Oregon Caves are formed of a harder recrystallized limestone that is different from most of the World’s famous caves.
